Restoration Studio is a creative sanctuary in the heart of Houston's Sawyer Yards. We create intimate, process-centered evenings that invite guests into the story behind the art — and we'd love to do that with you.
This is not a lecture or a demo. It's a warm, human conversation and a shared creative experience.

What is Studio Conversations?
A different kind of artist evening.
Studio Conversations is our signature guest artist series — intimate evenings designed to bring Houston's creative community closer to the artists who inspire it.
Each evening begins with a 30-minute artist talk: a relaxed, intentional conversation guided by Adrienne that invites guests into your journey, process, and creative voice. Think less formal interview, more meaningful dialogue.
From there, guests move into a hands-on creative experience — a curated activity inspired by your medium, your process, or your aesthetic — facilitated by you alongside our studio team.
Everything is designed to feel warm, unhurried, and deeply human. You don't need to perform. You only need to show up as yourself.
What You Receive
We handle the details. You bring the heart.
Facilitation Fee
A base fee of $200 for your evening, plus $10 for each registered attendee beyond 12 — paid within 5 business days of the event.

Restoration Studio handles the venue, setup, cleanup, all standard materials, ticketing, and event promotion through our channels. You focus on showing up.

Studio Conversations takes place on Saturday evenings, 6:00–8:00 PM. Below are our upcoming available dates. Click any open date to pre-fill your interest form.
If Saturday evenings do not work for your schedule, simply note that in your interest form and we will happily discuss an alternative time together.
A minimum of 8 registered attendees is required 48 hours in advance. Restoration Studio reserves the right to reschedule if minimums are not met.

Every Studio Conversations evening follows a gentle, intentional rhythm. Here is what the night looks like from your perspective as our guest artist.
We'll walk through all of this together when you arrive — nothing is left to figure out on your own.
What We Ask of You
Arrive & Settle In
You arrive 20 minutes early. We'll walk through the space together, finalize the setup, and talk through the flow of the evening. This time is yours — no rushing.

Guests filter in, settle into the studio, and browse your gallery wall display before we begin. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming.
At open timeArtist Conversation
Adrienne leads a warm, guided conversation with you — exploring your journey, process, inspiration, and the heart behind your work. Guests may ask a few light questions toward the end.
First 30 minutesHands-On Creative Experience
Guests move into a creative activity inspired by your medium or process — guided by you alongside our team. Process-centered, beginner-friendly, and spacious.
Following 90 minutesClose & Connect
As the evening wraps, guests have time to connect with you personally, explore your work, and carry the experience with them. Many stay to talk.
